Burn Day

I have to apologize for the delay in posting a new blog entry, but things are way to crazy right now.  Unfortunately the blog is lower on the priority list.  After putting the kids down I've been spending the evenings working on bids, designs, and various other business paperwork.  Not too exciting, but it is a must.

On Monday I stayed home to work on the ranch and burn the huge brush pile we created this past weekend after cutting down various trees and structurally pruning the rest.  We are clearing most of the yard to rebuild it for my brother-in-law Daniel whose wedding and reception will take place on the ranch.  My wife and I had our reception here almost 9 years ago and it was a big hit.  I wanted our reception to be like the movie Bravehart.  Partying on the countryside, eating good, drinking a lot and dancing all night.  Isn't that what a wedding reception is supposed to be, a party!

Anyhow, Moses and I had smores with the coals from the burn pile.  I usually cook up hot dogs in the burn pile and one time I even threw in a frozen pizza.  One of these times I should bury a pig and burn on top of it like it was a luau.

Look at that double marsh-mellow, time to indulge.
