The late season rains in California made for an extended snow season. My friend Jordan and I took our boys for some sledding and inner-tubing in the snow. My son Moses loves the snow, so much so I didn't know until we were leaving that his boots and socks were completely soaked with snow melt. Sledding is a great alternative to going skiing and snowboarding, especially since it is free. We usually spend a couple of hours building a good run to go down and then have a blast holding onto each other to create an inner-tube train. All of this good fun is usually finished off with a packed lunch and cold beer waiting in the snow.
The beer was appropriately named Snowshoe from a local brewery.
