Woman With A Gun

I finally got my wife to go shooting with me! She hasn't been avoiding the thought of shooting a gun, but at the same time she hasn't really been eager to make time for an activity she isn't too excited about. So a few weeks back Jordan, Jenny, Heather and I went shooting in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. There is a logging road that opens up to a clearing where everyone shoots.

When I first purchased my Ruger .40 cal handgun about 8 years ago (after a neighbor was shot and killed), I made a point of showing my wife how to use it; though I never got around to taking her to the range for live ammunition. Then we had kids and then here we are 8 years later. I'm glad we made time to go shooting. She didn't enjoy it much, but she was a good shot...

  2. NC, I'm guessing shooting is a daily activity. By the way, I forgot to mention that the railing John built for the deck is impressive.
